Review the following guide before applying for SoftBank Payment Service.

Application guide

  • Payment currency
    • SB Payment Service is only available for stores that use Japanese Yen (JPY) as their payment currency.
  • Notation based on the Specified Commercial Transaction Law of Japan
    • You must include a section for Notation based on the Specified Commercial Transaction Law of Japan on your storefront.
    • This notice can be added in Settings>General>Terms of Use.
    • If the content of this notice does not match your store policies, the review process may be delayed.
      Please ensure both are consistent.
  • Supported payment methods
    • Sole proprietors can only use credit card payment and PayPay as payment methods.

Review criteria for convenience store payments

  • You must use a domestic Japanese phone number.
    International numbers (e.g., +82-70-xxxx-xxxx) or mobile phone numbers cannot be used.
  • The main content of your storefront must be written in Japanese.
  • The review process can only begin once products have been added to your store.
  • The review process usually takes 3–4 weeks.
    If your store does not meet the criteria, the review may be put on hold.
