Existing users can’t log in after changing the social login key.
When you change the social login key and use the existing code, members who previously signed up will no longer be able to log in.
Each social login feature is applied by REST API key or Client ID issued for each social media platform.
Therefore, if you have already registered (integrated) members, changes to the integration settings or toggling the feature on/off may be restricted.
Important Notes
- Changing the issued Client (App) ID will disable the link with the existing user and order data.
- Please ensure the information is entered accurately when setting up social login for the first time. If members have already registered using the feature, changes to the linked information or usage status of the existing social login may be limited.
Social login is enabled, but it doesn’t work on certain browsers or domains.
If social login is enabled but not working on specific browsers or domain URLs, or if signup/login attempts fail, please check the following points.
1. The authentication key registered with each portal site does not match the one in the developer center
- Even leading or trailing spaces in the registered authentication key may result in a mismatch.
The required fields are provided as default instructions. If you need help registering the information, please contact the respective portal’s support center.
