Caution – Before you begin
Please make sure to check the following three items before setting HTTPS.
- An SSL certificate must be installed for HTTPS access to your site.
- Check that All content displays correctly when accessed via HTTPS.
- Ensure Social logins (e.g. Naver, Facebook) work properly under HTTPS.
Setting HTTPS
- Go to .
-
Click Edit for the desired store and change the HTTPS setting to Active, then click Save.
- You can manage HTTPS settings for each multi-language store individually.
- If you are adding a new store, HTTPS is Active by default, and no further action is needed.
Checking HTTPS status in the store list
- HTTPS status will show as one of the following: Active / Activation error / Inactive / Updating.
- Active: HTTPS is currently active.
-
Activation error ‘(!) Active’: It indicates that there was an issue issuing the SSL certificate for a domain included in the store, and the https setup has not been completed.
- Click the status to check the certificate and reissue it if needed.
- Inactive: HTTPS is turned off. All HTTPS settings will be removed upon deactivation.
-
Updating: Temporarily shown when changing between Active and Inactive.
- If this status remains for more than 5 minutes, it means the change may not have been saved properly. Please recheck the setting and click Save again.
- You can also see the HTTPS status in the alert banner at the top of the Multi-language store list.
Note
- If an SSL certificate fails to renew due to domain expiration or DNS changes, the HTTPS setting will show an activation error.
- If the certificate is not renewed properly, your site may not be accessible via HTTPS. Always ensure the certificate status shows Installed.
