What is TikTok Pixel?
TikTok Pixel is a piece of code you add to your website to find new customers, optimize campaigns, and measure ad performance.
With TikTok Pixel, you can track website visitor actions like page views or purchases, create audience segments to re-engage previous site visitors, or model lookalike audiences to find new customers.
How do I add Pixel to ads?
You can add Pixel to your ads during ad group creation when setting up a campaign. TikTok Pixel can only be used for traffic and conversion objectives.
For traffic objectives, click the Website option under Promotion type, then click Use TikTok Pixel to track your website. Using Pixel for this objective is optional, but we strongly recommend it.
For Conversion objectives, you can create a new Pixel with an optimization event or select one directly under Promotion type. Using pixel is required for this objective.
How do I edit Pixel?
You can modify Pixel by editing events, adding new events, redefining event triggers, or changing the pages where Pixel is installed on your website.
You can also delete Pixels not in use in ad groups from Events Manager.
