Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of making your online store more visible in search portals like Google.
It involves registering your store's pages and product information to match the categories, attributes, and descriptions required by search engines.
Recently, AI agents and LLMs are also collecting and using online store information, in addition to search engines.
Cafe24 provides features to improve search visibility with simple settings, without directly editing source code.
Info
- The more your store's URL or product detail page paths are shared on blogs or SNS, the higher they rank in search results.
- If you have a physical store or business address, try listing your store URL on Naver Maps and Google Maps.
- When creating product detail pages, avoid using very small text or registering text as images or videos, as search engines won't be able to collect them.
- Make good use of mobile-only or responsive design themes to ensure your store works well in mobile environments such as smartphones and tablets.
- Register your store's operation information with major search portals such as Google Search Console or Naver Search Advisor.
- If you want to manage your AI exposure, check your llms.txt settings as well.
You can restrict certain AI crawlers or specific pages from being indexed to adjust your exposure strategy.
General settings
With just the general SEO settings, you can configure your store information to appear on Naver, Google, and SNS. You only need to make simple settings without modifying HTML code.

- You can modify the robots.txt content to block access from specific search engine robots or block access to specific pages within the site to enhance security.
AI Crawler Access Control

- Connect to the specified path: Setting / connects to the store's main page, and setting an invalid URL connects to a 404 page.
(It cannot communicate the exact status to search engines, but it can reduce customer churn.)

A sitemap is a file containing a list of URLs for all pages on the site.
An RSS feed is a continuously updated file that includes the latest content of the site including the body text.
Search robots can collect the site more efficiently using the URLs in the sitemap and the latest content in the RSS feed.

Custom Code Input
You can add directly entered code to all HTML pages of the store.

- Body area: The entered code is added at the bottom within the <body> tag.
