Customer settings

You can configure how your store operates with regard to members.
Settings are available for member registration, identity verification, ID save, member withdrawal management, member information display, and more. 

Using Member Settings

You can configure settings related to store member registration.

  1. Store Settings > Customer Settings > Member Policy Settings > Member Settings

  2. Configure the member-related features to match your store's operating policy.

 

Member Registration & Identity Verification Settings

You can configure settings related to store member registration.
Set the relevant features in the 'Member Registration & Identity Verification Settings' section and click the 'Save' button.

 

1. Registration Field Display

You can select between basic field display and detailed field display at Store Settings > Customer Settings > Member Registration & Login > Member Registration Field Settings.

Depending on the basic or detailed field display setting, you can configure what customers enter on the store's member registration and member information edit screens.

  • Selecting 'Show Basic Fields' disables the following features on the store's member registration screen:
    • Member registration verification, registration input confirmation, and password verification question/answer
  • Selecting 'Show Detailed Fields' enables the following additional features on the store's member registration screen:
    • Additional features such as member registration verification, and whether to use registration fields when SNS sign-up is enabled

 

Note

  • Store design configuration is required. In Design Management or the Mobile Store menu, click the 'Edit Design' button and modify the HTML and CSS following the guide.

 

2. Member Registration Verification

  • Selecting 'Enable' means customers must be verified by the operator after registering before they can use the store. Member verification can be processed at Customers > Member Management > Member Registration Verification.
  • Selecting 'Disable' allows customers to use the store immediately after registering.

 

Note

  • This is available when 'Show Detailed Fields' is set in Registration Field Display.
  • When member registration verification is enabled, both regular members and SNS-linked members can use the store after being verified.

 

3. Password Verification When Accessing Member Information Edit Page

Customers can edit their member information after completing password verification in the store.

Select whether to enable this feature.

4. Registration Input Confirmation

When customers register in the store, they can review the information they entered one more time in the final step before completing registration.

Select whether to enable this feature.

 

Note

  • This is available when 'Show Detailed Fields' is set in Registration Field Display.

5. Email Duplicate Check

You can configure the store to prevent customers from registering with a duplicate email address.

Select whether to enable this feature.

 

Note

  • If you use the member withdrawal admin approval feature, make sure member withdrawals are not delayed. Delays may cause legal issues. Reflect this in your store policy and privacy policy as needed.
  • You can edit your store's terms of service and privacy policy at Store Settings > Basic Settings > Terms & Information Settings > Terms of Service Settings.

 

6. Password Recovery Method

You can set how customers recover their password in the store.
You can choose between sending a temporary password and immediate password change.

  • Selecting Send Temporary Password allows customers to receive a temporary password by email. They can log in to the store with the temporary password and then change it.
  • Selecting Immediate Password Change allows customers to change their password once identity verification is complete. They can then log in with the new password.

ID Save & Member Withdrawal Management Settings

You can configure settings related to the login screen and member withdrawal.
Set the relevant features in 'ID Save & Member Withdrawal Management Settings' and click the 'Save' button.

 

1. Save ID

You can configure the ID save feature on the store's login screen.

Select whether to enable this feature.

 

2. Member Withdrawal Admin Approval

When a customer requests to withdraw, the operator can approve the withdrawal before it is processed.

Select whether to enable this feature.

Selecting 'Enable' allows you to review the withdrawn member at Customers > Member Management > Member Withdrawal Management before processing the withdrawal.

 

Note

  • Email is used as the member verification method at Store Settings > Customer Settings > Member Registration & Login > Member Registration Field Settings.

 

3. Withdrawal Reason

You can configure the store to allow customers to select a reason when withdrawing their membership.

Select whether to enable this feature.

Selecting 'Enable' allows you to check the withdrawal reason at Customers > Member Management > Member Withdrawal Management.

Member Information Display Settings

You can display the member tier information of customers who are logged into the store.
Set the member tier display feature and click the Save button.

 

Member Tier Display

You can display member tier information on the store's cart, order form, order completion, My Shopping, and member information edit screens.

Select whether to enable this feature.
