You cannot import products without connecting a marketplace account first. Connect your account, then register products.
Connecting marketplace accounts
Go to Cafe24 PRO > Create requests > Marketplace accounts to connect your marketplace account first.
Click the Connect account button.
Select one marketplace to import from (e.g., Rakuten, eBay Japan, Yahoo! Japan).
Enter your seller account information and complete the connection process.
Importing products
Once your marketplace account is connected, you can start importing products.
Imported products are automatically added to the Products menu in your Cafe24 admin.
Click Add product.
Select a marketplace account and choose the import type (All, Manual entry, or Bulk upload).
Enter marketplace product codes or upload a CSV file.
Set the store to display the products in and configure promotional discount settings, then save.
Checking import request statuses
After submitting an import request, the import and registration status is automatically displayed.
Pending: Processing in progress
Completed: Products have been successfully added to your store. You can check the number of successful/failed imports. Click View details to view the list of registered products and product codes.
On hold: The request is on hold pending further review.

Checking import options by marketplace account
You can check which import options are supported for each marketplace account.
Go to Cafe24 PRO > Create requests > Import from marketplaces > Add product to check the available import options for each marketplace.

Choose either Manual entry or Bulk upload to import products.
Manual entry
Enter product codes manually.
- Enter marketplace product codes to import specific products to your store.
- This option is ideal for quickly importing a small number of products.
- You can enter up to 50 codes, separated by commas (,).
Bulk upload
Use this method to register multiple products at once.
- Click 'Download CSV template' to download the template.
- Enter the marketplace product codes you want to import, then upload the file to register them in bulk.
- You can register up to 1,000 products at a time.

- Currently, Rakuten, eBay Japan (Qoo10), and Yahoo! Japan all support both manual entry and bulk upload options.
Reasons for import failure and solutions
If an import request fails, identify the cause and check the solution as below. A detailed failure reason list is not currently provided, but here are the most common reasons for failure.

1. Missing required information or marketplace product code errors
This occurs when the CSV template is empty, required information is missing, or the product code does not exist or has format errors.
Reasons
- Uploading an empty CSV file
- Missing marketplace product codes empty in the CSV template
- Uploading more than 1,000 products
- Typos or non-existent codes
Solutions
- Enter marketplace product codes accurately.
- Upload a maximum of 1,000 products per CSV file.
- Copy the exact codes from the marketplace seller center.
2. Duplicate registration or import history conflict
This occurs when the product is already registered or has a previous deletion or import failure history.
Reasons
- Already registered products
- Deleted products
- Products with a previous import failure history
Solutions
- Products that are already registered cannot be imported again.
- Deleted products cannot be imported.
- For products with a previous import failure history, contact customer support.
3. Account connection error
This occurs when your account information is incorrect or outdated.
Reason
- Changes in account or authentication information
Solution
- Re-save your information on the account settings page and try again.
4. Product status issue
This occurs when the marketplace product status is not For sale.
Reason
- Products that are out of stock or temporarily suspended

- Change the product status to For sale on the marketplace and try again.
