Product sales analysis

Sales by product

Analyzes the entire process from product exposure to sales, providing information to identify which products are driving revenue. 

For each product, it shows in detail how many times it was exposed to customers (impressions), how many times it was added to cart (adds to cart), how many orders were ultimately made (orders), and how much revenue was generated (sales amount). 

Additionally, the various sales rate metrics provided (add-to-cart/impressions, orders/impressions, etc.) indicate how well customers convert at each purchase stage.

MetricDescription
Product name (Product number)

Refers to the product name, and product-specific data is displayed in the following cases.

  1. When the product detail page has been viewed at least once
  2. When the product has been added to cart (adds to cart)
  3. When the product has been sold

If the product name has been modified, the most recent product name is displayed.

Impressions

Refers to the number of times the product detail page was viewed.

  • Refreshing the page adds a new impression.
Adds to cart

Refers to the number of times the product was added to the cart.

  • Included when clicking Add to cart or Buy now on the product detail page.
  • Does not include navigating to (viewing) the "Cart" menu (page).
Orders

Refers to the number of paid orders.

  • If multiple products are paid for in a single order, this is counted as 1 purchase.
  • Only includes orders where payment has been completed.
  • Displayed based on payment date, not order date.
  • For bank transfers and virtual account payments, displayed based on deposit completion date.
  • Refunded, canceled, or exchanged orders are also included in the count based on the payment time, so even if refunded, canceled, or exchanged after payment, the count does not change.
  • Also includes payments made by clicking Buy now without going through the cart.
Items sold

Refers to the number of products purchased.

  • If 3 products are paid for in a single order, this is displayed as 3 purchased items.
  • Only includes orders where payment has been completed.
  • Displayed based on payment date, not order date.
  • For bank transfers and virtual account payments, displayed based on deposit completion date.
  • Also includes payments made by clicking Buy now without going through the cart.
Sales rate

Refers to the ratio of completed orders to the total number of times products were added to cart.

  • Sales rate = (Orders / Adds to cart) x 100
Sales amount

Refers to the total product amount of completed payments.

  • Product amount is based on shop display price and includes option values.
  • Displayed based on payment date, not order date.
  • For bank transfers and virtual account payments, displayed based on deposit completion date.
  • Refunded, canceled, or exchanged orders are also included in the sales amount based on the payment time, so even if refunded, canceled, or exchanged after payment, the sales amount does not change.
Add-to-cart/Impressions

Refers to the ratio of products added to cart among the number of product detail page views. 

  • Add-to-cart rate = (Adds to cart / Impressions) x 100
Orders/Add-to-cart

Refers to the ratio of completed orders among products added to cart. 

  • Sales rate = (Orders / Adds to cart) x 100
Orders/Impressions

Refers to the ratio of completed orders among product detail page views. 

  • Orders/Impressions = (Orders / Impressions) x 100

 

Sales rate by product

Provides information analyzing how efficiently each product converts customer interest into purchases, step by step in the conversion process. 

For each product, it shows how many times it was exposed to customers (impressions), how many times it was added to cart (adds to cart), how many orders this led to (orders), and how many products were ultimately sold (items sold). 

Additionally, the conversion rate metrics provided (add-to-cart/impressions, orders/impressions, etc.) show in percentages how well customers move from each purchase stage to the next.

Product name (Product number)

Refers to the product name, and product-specific data is displayed in the following cases.

Product period comparison

Provides information to track and analyze how a specific product's performance has changed by comparing two different periods.

For each product, it shows at a glance how much key metrics have increased or decreased compared to the base period, from customer interest (impressions, adds to cart) to actual sales performance (orders, sales amount). 

Additionally, changes in various sales rate metrics (increase/decrease) help you identify whether the product's sales efficiency has improved or deteriorated.

Product trend analysis

Provides information to compare and analyze performance changes over a specific period using graphs. 

Select up to 5 products to compare trends in sales performance (sales amount, orders) and customer interest (adds to cart, cart abandonment, visits) over time.

Date

Displays dates during the inquiry period where products meet the following criteria. 

  1. When the product detail page has been viewed at least once

Product detail analysis

Purchase propensity by product

Provides information to understand which customer segments are interested in each product and their purchase propensity, for use in targeted marketing. 

For each product, you can see at a glance how many times it was exposed to customers (impressions), how many were sold in total (items purchased), and which age group primarily purchased it (primary purchase age group). 

Additionally, through the detail view, you can also view the purchase status by all age groups for that product.

Impressions

Refers to the number of times the product detail page was viewed.

  • Refreshing the page adds a new impression.
Items purchased

Refers to the number of products purchased.

  • If 3 products are paid for in a single order, this is displayed as 3 purchased items.
  • Only includes orders where payment has been completed.
  • Displayed based on payment date, not order date.
  • For bank transfers and virtual account payments, displayed based on deposit completion date.
  • Also includes payments made by clicking Buy now without going through the cart.
Primary purchase age group

The age group of users who primarily purchased this product.

  • Age groups: Displayed as teens/20s/30s/40s/50s/60s and above, where teens are classified as ages 10-19 and other age groups follow the same criteria.
  • Age groups are classified based on the birthdate entered during customer registration, so if a user registered as a teenager and purchased in their 20s, it will be displayed as 20s.
  • Non-members (who completed purchase payment as non-members) and no information (members who completed purchase payment but have no registered age information) are excluded from the count.
  • If data is the same across age groups, the younger age group is displayed.
View detailsDisplays the number of items purchased by age group for users who purchased this product.

 

Product relation analysis

Provides information to analyze which products are frequently purchased together, for use in product recommendations, bundle product planning, and other marketing strategies. 

For each product, it shows the total quantity of other products purchased together with that product (products sold together) and what percentage this represents of all products sold together (ratio). 

Additionally, through the products sold together detail view, you can check the detailed list and quantities of which products were sold together. (Data up to the previous day is provided.)

Ratio

Refers to the ratio of products sold together with this product compared to the total products sold together.

  • Ratio = (Products sold together for this product / Total products sold together) x 100

 

Added to cart

Provides information to identify products with high purchase potential by analyzing which products attract the most customer interest and are added to cart. 

For each product, it shows in detail how many times it was exposed to customers (impressions), how many of those were added to cart (adds to cart), and what the add-to-cart rate is compared to impressions (add-to-cart rate).

Abandoned products

Provides information to identify issues in the purchase process by analyzing products that customers added to cart but ultimately did not purchase. 

For each product, it shows in detail how many times it was added to cart in total (adds to cart), how many of those did not result in purchase and were abandoned (abandonments), and what the abandonment rate is for products added to cart that did not lead to actual purchase (abandonment rate).

Cart utilization trend

Provides information to understand changes in customer purchase interest and actual sales performance over time by analyzing cart utilization status. 

For each day, it shows in detail how many times products were added to cart (adds to cart), how many of those did not result in purchase and were abandoned (abandonments), how many orders were ultimately made (orders), and what the total sales amount was for these orders (sales amount).

Churn revenue analysis

Provides information analyzing the potential revenue lost by product when customers add products to cart but do not purchase. 

For each product, it shows the number of times added to cart (adds to cart), the number that did not result in purchase (abandonments), and the total lost amount (churn revenue) calculated based on the product selling price (unit price). 

Additionally, the percentage this amount represents of total churn revenue (ratio) helps identify which products most urgently need improvement.

Refers to the ratio of this product's churn revenue to the total churn revenue.

  • Ratio = (This product's churn revenue / Total churn revenue) x 100

 

Category analysis

Sales by category

Provides information to comprehensively analyze which product categories are driving sales and their performance by category. 

For each product category, it shows in detail how many times products in that category were exposed to customers (impressions), how many times they were added to cart (adds to cart), how many orders were ultimately made (orders), and how much revenue was generated (sales amount). 

Additionally, the various sales rate metrics provided (add-to-cart/impressions, orders/impressions, etc.) help compare sales efficiency by category and identify areas for improvement.

Category name (Category number)

Refers to the product category.

  • If the category name has been modified, the most recent category name is displayed.
  • If the category has been deleted or is not displayed, "No category name" is shown.
View product list detailsDisplays information about individual products sold through that category.
Impressions

Refers to the number of times product detail pages in that category were viewed.

  • Refreshing the page adds a new impression.
Adds to cart

Refers to the number of times products in that category were added to the cart.

  • Included when clicking Add to cart or Buy now on the product detail page.
  • Does not include navigating to (viewing) the "Cart" menu (page).
Orders

Refers to the number of orders for products in that category.
