Info

Module code

  • A module code is used when editing the design source codes.
  • It is automatically generated and cannot be edited. After deleting a module code, you will never be able to create the same one agin.
For example, if you delete "product_listmain_5" and create a new home category, "product_listmain_6" will be generated.

Display out-of-stock products

  • Choose how to show out-of-stock products on your storefront.
  • Out-of-stock products are automatically sorted based on your settings.
  • Products set to Not for sale are also shown as out of stock on the storefront.

Adding products to home categories

In the search section, select a home category in the drop-down list at the top and click Search. All products  added to the selected category will be listed in the search results.
Click Add product to open the Add product popup. Select the products you want to add to the category and click Add.

  1. Adding and removing products
    • To add products, click Add product to open a popup where you can select products to display in the category. After selecting products, click Add to add them to the top of the current list.
    • To remove products from the selected category only, select the products and click Not on display. This action does not affect the product's display in other categories.

  2. Adjusting layout order
    • The layout order shown in the list determines each product’s display priority on your store's home page.
    • You can change the order using the arrow buttons: Send to bottom, Move down a line, Move up a line, and Send to top.
    • You can also change the order by entering a number in the input box and click Change to move the selected product to a specific position. Products below will move down a line.
    • If you enter a number larger than the total count, the product will move to the bottom of the list.
    • After updating the layout order, the new position appears below the original number with an arrow.

  3. Actual display order
    • The actual display order is determined not only by each product’s layout position, but also by its display settings, product status, inventory level, and whether it is pinned.
    • If a product is set to Not on display, Not for sale, or has zero stock, it may not appear in the expected layout order depending on the display settings of the category.
    • Once the product is set back to On display, For sale, and has at least one item in stock, it will be restored to its original position in the layout.

Rearranging layout order via CSV

You can update the layout order of multiple products at once using a CSV file, instead of adjusting them individually.

  • Click Export as CSV to download the current product layout list.

  • Open the downloaded file and update only the Layout order column.

  • Only numeric values are allowed in the layout order column. Using non-numeric characters will cause an error.

  • Note that the downloaded file does not reflect any products added or deleted after export.

  • Changes made to Product code or Product name columns in the file will not be applied.

  • To pin a product's layout position, enter Y in the Pin product column. Leave it blank or enter N to unpin.

  • After editing, upload the file to apply the changes to your home page category layout.

  • When editing the downloaded file in Excel, make sure to save it in .xlsx or .xls format before uploading.
