Deleted accounts

You can view and manage deleted customer accounts. 

Managing deleted customer accounts

You can check customers who have deleted their account voluntarily or been forcibly removed according to your store policies.

  1. Go to Customers>Manage customers>Deleted accounts.

  2. Search for deleted customer accounts.
    • Search by ID.
    • Filter by deletion type:
      Removed by admin, Account removal requested, Deleted unapproved accounts
    • Filter by date range.
    • Filter by reason for deletion selected by the customer.
  3. In the deleted account list, you can check:
    • Customers whose accounts have already been deleted
    • Customers who have requested account deletion
    To process a deletion request, select the customer and click the Delete button.

 

Note

  • Once a customer account is deleted, their personal information will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • Deleted by admin refers to customers who deleted their account from the Edit My Profile page on the storefront.
  • Account removal requested refers to customers who submitted an account deletion request from the Edit My Profile page on the storefront.
    • This is only available when Admin approval to delete account is enabled.
  • Deleted unapproved accounts refers to customers who were deleted manually in Customers>Find customer>Customer information.
  • If admin approval is enabled for account deletion requests, make sure to process them promptly.
    Delays may result in legal issues.
    We recommend including relevant details in your store policies and Privacy Policy.
  • You can update your Terms of Use and Privacy Policy in Settings>General>Terms of Use.
