You can add terms and policies for your store, including those related to customer data and purchases.
Configuring Terms of Use
Cafe24 provides standardized templates based on the guidelines of the Korea Fair Trade Commission and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), in accordance with the Information and Communication Network Act.
If you have not received legal advice for your store operations, we recommend using the default templates without modification.
Modifying the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy without proper legal grounds may result in disputes.
Editing Terms of Use
You can modify the Terms of Use to match your store policies.
The configured content will appear on the Terms of Service page (your-store-domain/member/mall_agreement.html).
- Go to Settings>General>Terms and policies and select the Terms of Use tab.
- Review and edit the terms as needed for your store, then click Save.
- To use a default template, click Use template to load the base terms before editing.
- If you encounter formatting issues such as incorrect spacing or line breaks, click the three-dot (⋮) icon at the top-right of the editor and switch to Code view (<>) to manually adjust the formatting.
Configuring Privacy Policy
You can revise the Privacy Policy to match your store operation policy.
The configured content will appear on the Privacy Policy page (your-store-domain/member/privacy.html).
- Go to Settings>General>Terms and policies and select the Privacy Policy tab.
- Review and edit the privacy policy, then click Save.
- Click Use template to load the base terms before editing.
