Configuring domain settings

You can configure basic settings for your domains.
Use the domain settings page to manage store connections, issue SSL certificates, add subdomains, and view purchase details.
Go to Settings>General>Store profile>Change domain>Manage domains>Domains connected to your stores>Settings to review your domain settings.

You can connect a domain to your store or unlink an existing one.
Select the store you want to connect and click Save.

Domains set as the primary domain cannot be unlinked directly.
To proceed, make sure it's no longer set as the primary domain first.
If you unlink a domain purchased outside of Cafe24, it will be removed from the domain list.
To reconnect it, go to Settings>General>Store profile and click Change domain, and then click Connect under the Existing domain section to go to the Connect existing domain page.

Cafe24 provides free SSL certificates by default.
- An SSL certificate is applied to key pages that handle personal information, such as login, sign-up, and checkout.
- An SSL certificate is automatically issued for your store's default domain provided by Cafe24. However, some mobile themes may not support it.
  - SSL certificates are also automatically issued for any domains you connect manually.
  - SSL certificates are not issued for domains like skin.storeid.cafe24.com and m.storeid.cafe24.com.
  - SSL certificates are issued free of charge.
If you've already issued a certificate and later connect a new domain, you'll need to request a separate certificate for that domain.
When an SSL certificate is applied, you must manually update any external scripts or links in your design files that still use http.

Installed: Certificate has been successfully issued and installed.
Issuance error: An issue occurred while issuing a certificate. Click Request certificate again.
Awaiting issuance: Certificate is being issued.
Not installed: Certificate has not been installed yet. Click Request certificate to proceed.

SSL certificates are not issued if your domain is not using Cafe24 name servers.
If you purchased the domain from another provider, update its name servers to Cafe24’s and click Request certificate again after 2 days.
Some domains may be ineligible for SSL certificates due to policy restrictions.
Domains that fail issuance are marked as Issuance error.
This can include domains containing “bank,” those resembling well-known companies, or domains owned by cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Google) or certificate authorities (e.g., Comodo, Verisign).
To activate https, click HTTPS settings to go to Settings>Channels>Multi-language store and enable it.

You can add a subdomain to a registered primary domain by entering its subdomain name.
Click Add to enter the subdomain and select the store to link it to.
Click OK to complete the registration. The subdomain will be labeled as Sub in the domain list.
If you click Delete, the subdomain will be removed from the domain list.

Domains can be renewed in 1-year increments.
Click Renew starting 6 months before the expiration date.
Cafe24’s default domain (id.cafe24.com) does not expire.
Expiration notifications are not available for domains purchased from other providers.

Once expired, the domain will no longer be accessible.
Renew your domain promptly when you receive an expiration reminder email.
