Email campaigns

Automatically identify recipients based on data such as cart activity, signup date, and login history to send personalized emails to your customers. Email campaigns are set up automatically and require no additional configuration.

Email campaign types

Four types of campaigns are available: Cart reminder, First purchase for new customers, Re-engagement (90 days), and Re-engagement (180 days).

Cart reminder

  • Purpose: To encourage customers who abandoned their cart to complete their purchase
  • Recipients: Customers who added items to their cart but did not complete the purchase 
  • Timing: A cart reminder email is sent within 1 day after items are added to the cart

First purchase for new customers

  • Purpose: To encourage new customers to make their first purchase
  • Recipients: New customers who signed up more than 7 days ago but have not made a purchase 
  • Timing: A popular product recommendation email is sent 7 days after signup

Re-engagement (90 days)

  • Purpose: To re-engage inactive customers
  • Recipients: Customers who have not logged in for 90 days or more
  • Timing: A popular product recommendation email is sent 90 days after the last login

Re-engagement (180 days)

  • Purpose: To re-engage long-term inactive customers
  • Recipients:  Customers who have not logged in for 180 days or more
  • Timing:  A popular product recommendation email is sent 180 days after the last login

Email campaign policies

  • Email campaigns are sent automatically based on your store's data, so you cannot customize the recipients. Email content and design also cannot be modified.

 

 

Important - Email marketing compliance

Email campaigns are sent in compliance with the following requirements.

  • Email subscription: Email campaigns are only sent to customers who have opted in to receive marketing emails.
  • Unsubscribe: All emails include an Unsubscribe link so customers can opt out at any time.
  • Sender information: The sender email address varies depending on your primary domain settings.
  • If a primary domain is configured, the sender address is:
    no-reply+abc.com@cafe24shop.com
  • If no primary domain is configured, the sender address is:
    no-reply+mall_id.cafe24shop.com@cafe24shop.com

 

 

Important - Turning off email campaigns

Email campaigns are automatically enabled. If you want to stop email campaigns, submit a request through our My Inquiries.
