Managing product feed

Once you complete the Merchant Center setup, all products added to your store will be submitted to Google Merchant Center. Approved products can be tagged and sold on your YouTube channel.

Using product feed list

  • Go to Marketing channels>YouTube Shopping>Product feed.
  • Check product details, approval status, and the reasons for disapproval or auto-exclusion from feed submission.
  • Approval status is determined by a Google Merchant Center review, which typically takes 5–10 days.

Info – Tips for using search filters

  • You can search by product name, product number, or product code.
  • Use commas (,) to search multiple product numbers or codes at once.
  • You can also filter by main product categories.

Fixing auto-excluded products

If your product does not meet Google requirements, it will be automatically excluded from feed submission.

  1. Search for the product marked as Automatically excluded.
  2. Review the reason for exclusion in the product feed list.
  3. Click the product name to open the Edit product popup.
  4. Update the information as needed and click Save to apply the changes.

Note – Avoiding auto-exclusion

  • Enter accurate product name, category, image, and brand information.
  • Avoid using terms like Personal Payment or Custom-made for you in product names.
  • Set the display status to On display and the product status to For sale.
  • Make sure the price (or discounted price) is set to at least 1.

Fixing disapproved products

Products disapproved during the Google Merchant Center review must be revised to comply with Google’s policies before they can be approved.

  1. Search for the disapproved product.
  2. Review the reason for disapproval.
  3. Update the product details to ensure they meet Google's policy requirements.
