You can configure the shipping rates that apply to your store.
Before setting up your shipping rates, please review the guide below on the default shipping profile, custom shipping profiles, and required setup steps.
Configuring shipping profiles
Default shipping profile
- You can configure the default shipping profile that is automatically applied to your store.
- Any products not assigned to a custom shipping profile will use the default profile by default.
- If you don’t need product-specific shipping profiles, use the default profile to define your shipping rates.
Custom shipping profiles
- For products that require special handling—such as fragile items or perishable goods—you can configure a custom shipping profile.
- You can create multiple custom profiles as needed. Products assigned to a custom profile will not use the default shipping profile.
- To view your custom shipping profiles, go to Settings>Orders/Shipping>Shipping and find the Custom shipping profiles section.
Shipping profile settings guide
Shipping origins
- Shipping origins are grouped for processing shipments. Only origins added on the Shipping origins page can be used in shipping origin groups.
- Each origin can belong to only one shipping origin group. All destinations and shipping rates within the same group must be identical.
- You can create multiple shipping origin groups, each with different shipping zones and rates.
- Newly added origins or origins not included in any group will appear under Not shipping from.
Available shipping zones
- You can set available countries and regions per shipping origin group.
- Customers can only place orders if their entered shipping address matches one of the configured shipping zones, so we recommend setting the regions accurately.
- After adding a shipping zone, click Add rate to configure the rate name, default shipping rate, and shipping rate rules.
Shipping rates
- Click Add rate to open a popup where you can configure shipping rate details.
- In the popup, enter the rate name, default shipping rate, and shipping rate rules.
- Rate rules can be based on weight per product, total order amount, or quantity per product.
- The rate name will be displayed on the checkout page, so please use a clear and customer-friendly label (e.g., Express Shipping, Same-Day Delivery).
Info
- When an order includes products shipped from multiple origins, and each has a different shipping rate name, customers will still see the label displayed simply as Shipping fee.
Not shipping from
- You can view shipping origins that have not been added to any shipping profile.
- These origins are not included in any default or custom shipping profile, so no shipping zones or rates are set for them.
- Products assigned to these unused origins cannot be ordered. To ensure proper order processing, make sure any shipping origin you intend to use is added to Shipping from.
Required settings
Shipping must be configured based on your actual fulfillment origins. Be sure to register the shipping origin information you use for shipping.
If you do not have your own shipping origin, you can use the default Self-managed origin by entering your store address.
After setting up the origin, you must assign it to each product individually.
Refer to the instructions below for more details.
Managing shipping origins
-
Go to
-
On the Default shipping profile page, scroll down to the
Shipping origins section and click
Manage to open the settings popup.
-
Add the actual shipping origin locations you use to fulfill orders.
- If you do not have your own shipping origin, we recommend using the default Self-managed origin by entering your store address.
Assigning shipping origins to products
- Assign the appropriate shipping origin to each product or variant.
- Go to Product>Product list, click a product name to open the Edit product popup, and go to the Options/Inventory section to set the shipping origin.
