Boards

You can configure how boards work in your store.

Configuring board settings

Store settings>Board>Boards is where you configure these settings.

Setting the board manager name

Set how the manager name appears on the boards in your store.

  • Admin name: The admin's name is displayed.
  • Admin nickname: The admin's nickname is displayed.
  • Store name: Your store name is displayed.
  • Company name: Your company name or corporate name is displayed.

Linking other inquiries to a board

When a customer leaves a message under Other inquiries while placing an order, you can have that message posted to a specific board.

  • If you select Active, an Other inquiries field is added to the order form on your store.

  • Use Board to select which board the message is posted to.

Setting when product reviews can be written and displayed

Set when the product review button appears on the order details page, and which order statuses allow reviews.

  • Available regardless of order status
    • Customers can write a review after ordering, regardless of the order status.
    • Note that customers may abuse rewards offered for writing reviews.

  • Available while in transit
    • Customers can write a review while the order is in transit.

  • Available after delivery
    • Customers can write a review once the order has been delivered.

Setting password rules for boards

You can require customers to set a password when they write a private post or private comment.
This is set to Disable by default, but we recommend changing it to Active for security and legal compliance. The Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection require you to establish and enforce password rules so that customers can use secure passwords.

  • If you select Disable, no restrictions apply to passwords.

  • If you select Active, customers must enter a password of 10 to 16 characters that combines at least two of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

Setting up CAPTCHA for boards

You can require a security code when customers write a post or comment.
This prevents spam posts from being registered automatically.
For CAPTCHA on boards, choose either Security code or Google reCAPTCHA.

  • Security code
    • Customers must enter a 6-character security code made up of letters and numbers.
    • Theme settings are required to add a refresh option to the security code.

  • Google reCAPTCHA v3
    • Google determines whether the activity is spam, with no extra step for the customer.
    • Google reCAPTCHA registration page is where you register your store domain, which is required to use this feature.
    • Enter the site key and secret key issued after registration.
    • Store settings>Board>Manage boards is where you set the scope and the target customers for spam settings, in the detailed settings for each board.
    • When Google reCAPTCHA is enabled, a badge appears on your storefront.

Info

What is Google reCAPTCHA?

Google reCAPTCHA v3 is a security measure that blocks malicious software from carrying out harmful activity on websites.

Note

Is Google reCAPTCHA free?

Google reCAPTCHA v3 is free for up to 1,000 calls per second or 1,000,000 calls per month.
If you exceed the free tier, Google sends you an email about it.
You can upgrade to reCAPTCHA Enterprise.
While using Google reCAPTCHA v3, if you expect a sharp increase in visitors, such as during an event, we recommend temporarily switching to Security code.
