Creating a CSV file
- Select the data you want to request.
- Review the conditions you can set.
- Select a CSV template.
If none of the basic templates fit your needs, use Manually configure CSV template to select the items you want and save it as a template.
- Enter the password you want to use when creating and downloading the file.
- Review the data options and click Request CSV file.

Removing HTML tags from product names
When selected, product detail page URLs are not included in the product names in your CSV file.

Protecting numbers starting with zero
Numbers with leading zeros are saved as ="00012" so that you can view and copy them directly in your spreadsheet program.
- Saving a CSV file again in your spreadsheet program may remove this protection along with the leading zeros.
- If a protected CSV file cannot be uploaded to another solution, turn off the number protection setting and download the file again.
Notes on requesting a CSV file
- You can request all records within a set period, or only the records that match the conditions you select.
- To download a file, select it in Download CSV.
- When File type in your request history is Standard, the file is created right away.
When it is Large, the file is created the day after you request it.- Standard: Data within the last month, or fewer than 3,000 records even when the period is longer than a month.
- Large: 3,000 records or more over a period longer than a month.

Do I have to set a password on my CSV file?
We recommend encrypting any file that contains your customers' personal information before saving it on your computer.
Encryption may be required by the personal data protection regulations that apply in your country or region, so check the rules that apply to your store.

Notes on CSV file requests
- For customer data, fewer than 50,000 records is classified as Standard and 50,000 records or more as Large, regardless of the period you set.
- You can create up to 20 files a day.
(You can request large files up to 5 times a day.)
Notes on requesting customer data
- Withdrawn accounts are excluded when you download customer data.
- To view withdrawn accounts, ask your main operator to grant you permission.
- Most personal information is hidden when you download data on withdrawn accounts.
- Accounts created through express signup during the set period
- Customers who signed up through express signup on the order form as a guest.
