Among the basic settings for running your store, configure the store and security features.
Store/Security settings
Access approval settings
Set the countries allowed or blocked from accessing your store, block specific IPs, and limit access times for sub-admins.
Approved countries
Set which countries are allowed or blocked from accessing your store.
Access is blocked when someone connects to your store using an IP range from a blocked country.
To set this up, select a country from the approved countries list and move it to the blocked countries list.
When access is attempted from a blocked country, the message "It's not possible to access the online shopping mall from your country." appears.
Block IPs
Set registered IPs to be blocked from accessing the store and the admin.
Registered IPs cannot access the store or the store admin, so add them carefully. Example: If you add your own admin IP, you may not be able to manage your store.
To block a specific IP range, use an asterisk (*). Example: 123.123.123.*
Limit access time for sub-admins
Select [Use] so sub-admins can access the admin page only during the times you set. (Based on GMT)
Outside the set times, sub-admins can still access and log in to the store. However, they cannot access the store admin.
To exempt specific sub-admins from the access time settings, go to Store settings > Admins > Admin accounts > Manage admins and select [Always allow access to the admin regardless of the access time settings].
Sub-admins who access the store admin outside the set times will be logged out automatically.
Preventing fraudulent logins
This feature strengthens security by blocking abnormal login attempts on your store site.
When set to [Use], a CAPTCHA is activated after six or more failed login attempts on the store login page, effectively blocking abnormal logins.
Info
What is a CAPTCHA?
It is a technology used to prevent computer programs, rather than humans, from automatically performing certain tasks.
It is usually provided by having users select distorted text, specific characters within an image, or objects in a photo, which verifies that the user is human.
